It is our pleasure to extend some unique benefits to you. We provide a flexible schedule, so you decide when and how often you want to enroll in swim lessons. Our rates are monthly and if you decide to start in the middle of a month, we can pro-rate your 1st month. We offer make-up lessons – as long as the class is canceled in advance. Below, we have compiled additional information on our current policies.

Check-In: When you arrive for swimming, we require you to stop by the office and check-in. You will receive a colored ring corresponding with the color of our instructor’s teaching basket. Our instructors are required to receive a ring from each student before entering the pool. Please avoid sending children to check-in by themselves so we can make contact with each parent.

Payments and Cancellations: All payments are on a recurring auto payment method that can be a Visa/MC provided. All charges to your account will be made on the 1st of every month for the current month enrolled. If you need to cancel at any time, cancellations must be made in writing before the 1st of the month you wish to withdrawal from to ensure no charges will encure. Water Wings Swim School does not offer refunds under any conditions. In the event of an illness or any other unforeseen circumstances a credit can be issued to be used at a later date. All credits remain in our system for one year from issue date. Cancellations can be faxed at (702) 974-2002 or e-mailed to parents@waterwingsswimschool.com.

Classes: Our classes are offered seven days a week and we have morning and afternoon times available to fit anyone’s scheduling needs. Our classes are ½ hour long and have four children per class in our three and older groups. We also offer private lessons and infant classes. Our infant classes have six children maximum and are also ½ hour in duration.

Make-Ups: Make-up lessons are offered ONLY if the original class is canceled in advanced. We offer one (1) FREE make-up lesson for each day of the week you are scheduled. If your child swims once a week, you get one make-up lesson per month, as two lessons a week equals two make-ups a month. We offer make-up lessons for all of our 1/2 hour classes. Unfortunately we do not offer make-up lessons for our Hammerhead or Rec Team levels due to the fact that it is an hour class and we only offer them a few times per week. Make-up lessons are not offered when we close for the Federal holidays. But, if Water Wings cancel classes for unexpected reasons, such as inclement weather, a broken heat pump, or an “accident” in the pool, we will gladly schedule a make-up to compensate for the inconvenience. Please note that we offer the first make-up for free per month and any additional make-ups for an extra charge. Additional make-up lessons are $5.00 each for group lessons and $10.00 each for private lessons. Also please note that make up lessons do not roll over to your same spot on the following months schedule and we cannot schedule make-up lessons for missed or cancelled make-ups. We do allow a 90 day grace period as long as you are currently enrolled in our school to schedule all make-ups, after which classes are forfeited. If you choose to not continue swim lessons, all make-up lessons must be done before your last paid class.

Booking Fees: If you know that you will miss more than 2 classes on your scheduled day (like upcoming vacation, a new baby, surgery, etc.), but you don’t want to lose your child’s specific day, time, or instructor; a “booking fee” may be paid in advance to hold your spot. A minimum of two consecutive booking fees must be purchased. Booking fees are $5.00 a class for group lessons and $10.00 a class for private lessons.

Infant Swim Diapers: All children under the age of three or children who are not potty trained over the age of 3 must wear a NON-DISPOSABLE swim diaper.

Locker Rooms/ Use of Facility: Swim School clients may use the designated shower and bathroom facilities before and after their class. Children 5 years of age and over must use the gender appropriate locker room facility.

Free Swim: Unfortunately we do not offer free swim during normally scheduled lessons. In order for our teaching staff to give full attention to their students, we ask that parents keep their children out of the pool until their lesson begins.

Extra Events: Periodically, we host our fun and hilarious swim meets, family fun swim nights, we also offer birthday parties, swim camps, water aerobics, adult lap classes, unlimited swim months, and much more. Please contact your local school for more information.

Teachers: Water Wings Swim School although cannot guarantee the teachers for the following term they will try their best to keep some consistency.

WWSS does not permit alcoholic beverages to be served on its premises or in the area surrounding the facility.

Liability Release: Neither Water Wings Swim School or its landlords shall be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, action or causes of action whatsoever, to person or property arising out of or connected with the use of any of the services or facilities of the premises. I have read this agreement and the rules and regulations which are incorporated herein by reference, and I agree to be bound by their terms and conditions.

Parental Supervision: We require a parent/guardian maintain direct supervision of all children under the age of 16 at all times. The parent/guardian must remain in the facility. In case of a medical emergency, parents must be immediately available. There is no recreation or play time allowed before or after classes.
